Hello, As you probably know this is a wrong mailing list, there is a VDR specific list.
With VDR there are a couple of possibilities (what I know) - Xine output (over X / xv) - fbxine output - softdevice (directfb) But be warned, all these outputs are more like a alpha stage, they work and proof that it can be done, but they still have some problems. For easiest solution you'd probably try softdevice. Just setup directfb, then compile VDR+plugin and it should work. You also need linux audio (alsa etc) output for sound. Software can be found from www.vdrportal.de > -----Original Message----- > From: ABBAS AL-MUTAWA [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, January 20, 2004 12:04 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [linux-dvb] DVB-s and software mpeg decoder with VDR > > Hi > > does any one know how to get VDR working with DVB card > that does not support hardware mpeg? i.e Twinhan DST > card. > > > Thanks > > > __________________________________ > Do you Yahoo!? > Yahoo!
