I have a hauppauge/technotrend dvb-c card 2.1, I got it from usa-x.org I have tried to both decrease and increase it a little bit from the default of 0x40 and I have tried to change it a lot, like 0x70 and 0x20 but the only difference I saw was that I wasnt able to get a lock when trying czap if I changed pwm too much. It's a bit hard to test reliably because of tuning problems. For example if I tune to DisMix after loading the modules and get a lock, and then try to tune to DisMix again it almost never works, but if I change to ESPN, wich is recived realy well, and then back to DisMix I usualy get a lock on DisMix but not always. So I usualy have to change channel a few times before getting a lock. > > First time I run czap I get this and bad reception: > > --------------------- > > [szap]# ./czap DisMix > > using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0' > > 42 > DisMix:322000000:INVERSION_AUTO:6875000:FEC_NONE:QAM_64:4100:4356:1016 > > 42 DisMix: f 322000000, s 6875000, i 2, fec 0, qam 3, v > 0x1004, a 0x1104 > > Try not to use auto_inversion, seems also cause some trouble. When I tried to change the pwm I also turned on verbose=1 so I can see the afc, but it was always at "(-4) 26856Hz" and sometimes at -5. -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe linux-dvb" as subject.
