Hello, I recently encounter mysterious problems when trying to configure an Internet-via-Satellite installation with Debian Woody. I have tried linuxtv-1.0.1 as well as linuxtv-1.1.0 with dvbtune and with szap & dvbnet but it is always the same. I open the network interface and active it with ifconfig -a dvb0_0 192.168.46.21. Next I check the arriving packages with tcpdump -ni dvb0_0: 17:30:18.440433 192.168.250.52.44761 > 229.104.117.116.9205: udp 52 (DF) 17:30:18.454868 192.168.250.37.34716 > 229.104.116.128.9205: udp 1460 (DF) 17:30:18.454883 192.168.250.53.49933 > 229.104.117.173.9205: udp 356 (DF) 17:30:18.454906 192.168.250.53.49933 > 229.104.117.173.9205: udp 1460 (DF) 17:30:18.454917 192.168.250.53.47655 > 229.104.117.241.9205: udp 404 (DF)
So this seems to work. But when checking the same interface with iptraf -d dvb0_0, iptraf says there is no package arriving at all. Can you help me? There seems to be some filter activated but I cannot find any. THX. Thomas Kesselheim -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe linux-dvb" as subject.
