Hello, I have many problem with driver for my Hauppauge DVB-s and the kernel 2.6.2.
1)When i compile the kernel with firmware (not compiled in driver), i have this in dmesg : saa7130/34: v4l2 driver version 0.2.9 loaded saa7146: register extension 'dvb'. saa7146: found saa7146 @ mem d5832c00 (revision 1, irq 19) (0x13c2,0x0003). dvb-ttpci: cannot request firmware! 2)When i compile the kernel with firmware (compiled into the driver) : saa7130/34: v4l2 driver version 0.2.9 loaded saa7146: register extension 'dvb'. saa7146: found saa7146 @ mem d5832c00 (revision 1, irq 19) (0x13c2,0x0003). dvb-ttpci: this is not an av7110 firmware The firmware is located in /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware and he come from http://www.linuxtv.org/dvb/. And i've also tested the firmware from CVS. I have : -redhat 9 -updated hotplug (2004_01_05) -/sys mounted help me, please !!
