Hi all, I just moved from a budget-DVB-T + DXR3 setup to a full-feature-DVB-C + budget-DVB-T. The FF DVB-C card is not connected to anything (yet), so it is only working as on output. VDR version is 1.2.6.
The problem is that occasionally, sometimes several times an hour, sometimes a few times a day, something crashes and the result is that screen the screen goes black, but the sound remains. In th log file I get entries like this (not in order, just clips from the log): Feb 23 23:00:34 zem kernel: OutCommand: timeout waiting for COMMAND idle Feb 23 23:00:34 zem kernel: SOutCommand error Feb 23 23:00:34 zem kernel: outcom error Feb 23 23:00:37 zem vdr[339]: ERROR: ring buffer overflow (188 bytes dropped) Feb 23 23:00:37 zem last message repeated 1605 times Feb 23 23:00:39 zem kernel: av71100: ARM crashed! After browsing the mailing list archive I found this: http://www.linuxtv.org/mailinglists/linux-dvb/2003/05-2003/msg00279.html Is this still the best known fix to this problem even after all this time or should I spend even more hours browsing the archive?
