It seems to be timing out communicating with the dec here. I imagine the driver faking tuning status could be what's confusing xine. Perhaps I'll take another look at trying to fetch real tuning/status numbers. Still, these are temporary failures - how are things with mplayer? Is it completely killing the dec?
