Hi there, Trying to get my VisionPlus card to view DBS Nimiq 1 channels.

Using Mandrake 10. Manually compiled DVB-apps because I find the Mandrake RPM scandvb didn't include the -l DBS option. Trying to scan channels but I'm only getting the horizontal channels so I suspect that is part 1 of my problem. I do get about 236 channels found. based on the channels.conf that it generates I'm able to szap to XPRS2, which is not encrypted: ../szap/szap -r -c channels.conf -l DBS XPRS2 reading channels from file 'channels.conf' zapping to 3 'XPRS2': sat 0, frequency = 12253 MHz V, symbolrate 20000000, vpid = 0x0000, apid = 0x0000 using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0' status 1f | signal 4500 | snr 1934 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK status 1f | signal 4500 | snr 1a38 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK status 1f | signal 4500 | snr 1ae5 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK status 1f | signal 4500 | snr 1a04 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK Now when I try to use mplayer to view the stream, I don't get any data. I'm stuck and need some direction as to which steps I should take next. I know everything works fine since I can see the satelite and watch XPRS2 in windows. Mplayer does the following (using RPM that came with Mandrake 10): mplayer - </dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0 MPlayer 1.0pre4-3.3.2 (C) 2000-2004 MPlayer Team CPU: Intel Pentium 4/Xeon/Celeron Foster 3107 MHz (Family: 8, Stepping: 7) Detected cache-line size is 64 bytes CPUflags: MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 0 3DNow2: 0 SSE: 1 SSE2: 1 Compiled with runtime CPU detection - WARNING - this is not optimal!
