I own a WinTv Nova budget DVB-S card.
I want to build a computer only for television and other multimedia applications.
�
Of cource I wanna use Linux (preffered Gentoo with 2.6 or is there a better one)
�
Since now i can watch tv with xine, but i miss one application for all multimedia things with an easy user interface.
�
The second problem i have, is to use the remote control (connectet to the nova)-
�
Has anybody experiences with this card, and/or an description how to install?

PS: what is the best way to record a program? (while watching?)
