No problems,

I've signed up for access to the Philips developers area, as long as the
TDA8274 doesn't have Macrovision support then there should be no NDA to
sign.

Christian Hack was the gent who the Philips Engineer was dealing with, about
a year ago. I did a search and it appears Christian was (is?) very much
involved with the V4L group.

cheers,

Craig

I think the TDA8274 programming information may be the hardest to come by,
as this is a rather new tuner. Could you ask the Philips Engineer about
those?
