Pascal- The Hauppauge Nova-S-Plus DVB-S is supported out-of-the-box by the cx88-dvb driver in recent kernels. See items 37 and 38: http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb/file/tip/linux/Documentation/video4linux/CARDLIST.cx88 You should not need to do anything special in order to use this card -- the driver should be able to autodetect the hardware by itself, unless you have a newer version of this card.
