I have got a problem with getpwnam() from glibc (libc-2.1.1.so) when i use it in the embedded application. the function succeed by it does not read /etc/passwd file. (return value is NULL). It work correctly on my development station. ( Neither development or embedded platform use shadow password ).
I am looking for which (configuration) file is missing in /etc
Does anybody know required files or the mechanism used by those functions
?
