Hi,
I got Linux running on my eval board (Centaurus from
NatSemi)
Most things seem to work, including graphics. Haven't tried
sound yet.
The worrying thing is performance. I get 93 bogomips, 78
dhrystones (compared with 333 bogomips, 180 dhrystones on my 166MHz AMD
K6.
The Geode CPU is a 300MHz G1, the Linux kernel is a standard
2.2.10 kernel off SuSE 6.2 distribution
I could try recompiling the kernel, but I don't expect to see
a big improvement in performance. What processor should I compile
for?
Thanks,
Paul Robertson
