How do I upgrade the XFree86 3.3.6 that comes with
the Embedded Linux to XFree 4.1.0 ?
The usual install with Xinstall.sh can't run
because of missing files, e.g. egrep.
I have installed it from another fuller system by
mounting /usr/X11R6 and /etc/X11 but startx & xinit fail.
Running ./X alone does run but then I can't get twm
to run from there. It complains about 'opening display ""'
