Hi all,
I've successfully managed to get my kernel to recognize a DiskOnChip and
boot linux off it.I used the Open Source drivers from MTD. For speed
reasons I want to try the M-Systems drivers but I wasn't able so far to
get it running.
I compiled a kernel 2.2.19 with DOC support but when booting everything
I get is:
nftl_cache=1 policy=0 is_ram_check=0 multidoc=0 8bit_access=0
fl :M_Systems DiskOnChip not found
Cannot initialize M-Systems DOC 2000 OSAK
Compiling a kernel 2.4.x wouldn't succeed at all. make bzImage would
stop with:
drivers/block/block.o: In function 'blk_dev_init':
drivers/block/block.o(.text.init+0x156): undefined reference to
'fl_init'
make: *** [vmlinux] Error 1
What did I possibly do wrong?
Thanks in advance for any hint
Holger Friedrich
