We managed to do the installation with a 2.6.3 kernel. Download the
debian package at
http://www.informatik.uni-koeln.de/fai/download/developers"; and copy it
to /usr/lib/fai/kernel. Then edit fai.conf and call
make-fai-nfsroot. They only change you have to make when using FAI
2.5.4 is in
/usr/lib/fai/create_ramdisk line 14/22
