Fake start stop daemon

Guys,

Has anyone else had problems with the fake start-stop-daemon.  I can 
install my machines just fine, but the fake start-stop-deamon doesn't 
get replaced by the new real one at the end of the install.  So when the 
machines restart, nothing works right until I make the change.  Is there 
some kind of setting I might have changed to cause this?  I'm totally at 
a loss and can't explain this at all.  Once again, all help appreciated.
