Ok, thanks for the explanation. I just tried fai-kernels-1.7.1, and voila, no kernel panic. So now I only have to learn how to configure fai, but having used solaris jumpstart since 1992, that shouldn't be so hard. -- Per Foreby http://www.efd.lth.se/perf/
