Moin, I have to switch from the goold old 2.2.20 installkernel to 2.4.24-fai.
Although I wrote 'modprobe -a ide-probe-mod ide-disk ide-cd' to class/06hwdetect the modules are not loaded, and no disk is found. What can be the reason for this? BTW: There is no module ide-probe-mod.o in 2.4.24/fai/kernel/driver/ide/ but a ide-detect.o. But anyhow: Nothing is loaded.
