I got this error on ubuntu dapper when running "fai-setup": Kernel installed into the nfsroot. FATAL: Could not open '/boot/System.map-': No such file or directory cp: ne peut évaluer `/usr/lib/fai/nfsroot/boot/vmlinuz-': Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type Here is files I have in the nfsroot/boot: config-2.6.16-fai-kernels memtest86+.bin patches-2.6.16-fai-kernels System.map-2.6.16-fai-kernels vmlinuz-2.6.16-fai-kernels So the problem is the capital "S" for "System.map-" and fai-setup searches without the capital "system.map-" Xavier Claessens.
