I need to install linux on a new machine that needs drivers from the section
of the linux kernel config titled 'Serial ATA (prod) and Parallel ATA
(experimental)'. But no drivers are showing up when I enter that page. I
figure I must have to turn on some other flag to get these drivers to show
up. But I don't know what it is.
So instead of starting from my old FAI kernel conf, I thought I'd start with
one from grml. Grml does recognize the sata drive in this machine so it must
have the drivers. And there are drivers listed when I go to that page via
menuconfig.
So I would like to convert the grml config file to one that will work for
the FAI boot CD. CAn anyone tell me how to do that?
TIA.
