Hello, I'm trying to install Ubuntu Hardy Heron. For i386 architecture it works, fai boots, partitions and configures the install client.
Problems arouse when booting an AMD64 kernel: right after "mounting root device": /init: .: 150: Can't open /scripts/live I've read the postings to Bug#452363, but doesn't help me. /srv/fai/nfsroot/live/filesystem.dir/usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/live does exist in my nfsroot environment. My setup is: Fai-Server: Debian Etch, with FAI from koeln repos. nfsroot: Debian Etch, created for i386 basefiles are generated for both architectures kernels: i386: linux-image-2.6.18-5-686 2.6.18.dfsg.1-17 from etch amd64: linux-image-2.6.18-5-amd64 2.6.18.dfsg.1-17 from etch I try to share the nfsroot for both type of fai-clients, amd64 and i386 arch clients. Is it possible to do so? Regards, Eymen Alyaz
