there is a bug in e2fsprogs in debian squeeze. ( http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=583551 ) The bug is fixed in sid, but the package wasn't merged to squeeze, yet. Best regards, Manuel Hachtkemper
