Hi all, maybe someone has a good hint for me...
I just try to install an FAI client with squeeze from a lenny server. But I get a lot of errors when files are copied and then directly after this are accessed. For example: fcopy: copied /var/lib/fai/config/files/etc/init.d/fai-update/TRAIN to /target/etc/init.d/fai-update update-rc.d: error: unable to read /etc/init.d/fai-update There are a lot of these messages, but the files are copied, I can see them in the target directory. Or this: mkdir: cannot create directory `/scratch/firefox-extensions': No such file or directory cd: 4: can't cd to /scratch/firefox-extensions As before, the directory is created... If I use cfengine to create links on directories which are not yet there it seems that the kernel throws a stack trace regarding the module "aufs" and the installation stops here. Has anyone an idea/solution/fix for this strange behaviour? The used FAI version for installation is FAI 3.4.7, 24 Dec 2010 and I use this kernel to boot via PXE: Kernel currently running: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Kernel parameters: initrd=initrd.img-2.6.32-5-amd64 ip=dhcp root=/dev/nfs nfsroot=/srv/fai-squeeze/nfsroot boot=live FAI_FLAGS=verbose,sshd,create vt FAI_ACTION=install BOOT_IMAGE=vmlinuz-2.6.32-5-amd64 Very strange...
