Is it the start sector 63 of the first partition that you use as indication of align-at not working? If so, I somewhat agree, but wouldn't go as far as align-at not working at all. The problem is just that I chose to use the maximum of align-at and sector 63 for the first partition. Probably I should be doing an alignment according to align-at for some sector greater than 63. Please just let me know whether the start of the first partition is your indication of align-at not working. If yes, I'll come up with a fix pretty soon. Thanks a lot, Michael
