But before the reboot and expecting a running system, you did also an installation, right? So here it's not clear if you error happens AFTER install or when trying to start the actual install. Which type of install do you do? Which messages do you see? Any errrors? What's in the logs? Does the install finish with sucess or error? Do you see the network card PXE messages Did you ever use this same setup to install a normal debian sucessfully? Did you do any FAI installs before and have experience debuggin FAI? Henning
