I have successfully followed the former page you posted 2/26 down to
"testing the installation". After I move some hardware around I can get
on with that last step. I've not compared this walkthrough to the
original wiki page based on 3..., but for 4.0.6 it works well.
As an aside, it seems 4. might be significantly improved over 3. but
don't take my newbie opinion to the bank.
