maybe one can add this to the append line:
ip=<interface>:{dhcp|on|any|dhcp6|auto6}[:[<mtu>][:<macaddr>]]
At least it is documented here:

So I guess a
ip=eth0:dhcp
should do the job? But I did never test it...
