Yes, in FAI 4.2 we things in fai-cd. I guess you are using the old
/etc/fai/grub.cfg which does not contain this additioneal kernel
command line parameter:
FAI_CONFIG_SRC=file:///var/lib/fai/config
You should use the grub.cfg from the 4.2 packages.
