It seems that your nfsroot is read-only. There are several possible
reasons for this.
Neither aufs or overlayfs are working because of wrong pxelinux.cfg
configuration. Or your nfsroot ojn the server is exported via NFS
v4. This can be fixed by forcing NFS v3. Have a look at
