Hi all, the new FAI version 6.5.3 is available. You can now put the package mirror on the data partition, which is a writable partition on USB sticks. FAI will detect this package mirror and use it. If this does not exist, FAI will fall back to use the mirror that's included in the squashfs of the ISO.
This feature helps to put your own config space and package mirror on the data partition of a USB stick, without the need of recreating the whole ISO. I think I should write a more detailed blog post about that.
