i am reading the scheme by which journal works. i came to know that after every transaction writen to the log file a 512 byte sector is writen back to the disk. this is treated as a commit block, and there is some sequence number in there that matches with all the previous transaction has been done. but how it is possible i can't understand .
please tell me about the proper scheme of the commit block. somenath - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-fsdevel" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
