Hello,
Anyone there?
I'm moving my application to a recent Caldera release and find that
there's been a dirty trick played on those of us who have been
compiling under gcc. We are now forced to compile under egcs.
My big remaining problem is with streampos which has grown from 4
bytes on the old system to 8 bytes in the new compiler.
I'm trying to figure out what the 8 bytes are. I grep in the header
files and it seems to go through a few #defines and eventually it's a
"streamoff" but I can't find what that is.
Can anyone tell me what this is about or how I learn about it?
Stuck,
