On an Alpha LX164, 600mhz, RedHat6.0 with rawhide "enhancements", and with egcs-1.1.2-30, binutils-2.9.5.0.29, glibc-2.1.3-14, I now get errors of the form " /usr/bin/ld can"t find __start, defaulting to ..." when compiling kernels, binutils, Xfree. Same when I downgrade to the tools on the distribution cd. What is happening, and what can I do to correct? Thanks, Martin Rosenstein
