Alan - I've not been into High-Availability Linux capabilities; however, I intend to become familiar with the entire scope of Linux capability. I will be a reader rather than an active contributor/questioner, until I am ready to venture into installing a High-Availability Linux system. I am awaiting new hardware to run SuSE 10 and other Linux OS. Past experience: I wrote commercial applications and installed those on Xenix in 1985, upgraded those applications and installed them on Unix in 1993. Stability of apps and OS is exemplary. I have been away from Linux during its hugely successful explosive growth.
