Uhm. You're contradicting your own "heartbeat makes sense in a one node
configuration too as init-on-steroids" credo.

And just because we start with no other nodes present (and thus no
cluster) doesn't mean that communication media and nodes can't be
dynamically added.

For this however to happen, heartbeat must be running in a larval stage
already - and that coukd be instantiated via the CIM provider, if I get
the intention here correctly.
