The meanings of such code, and the use of "crmd" are not my particular area. But has it left a core dump behind? Probably somewhere under "/var/opt/LXHAhb/lib/heartbeat/cores". If there is, could you see if that reveals anything, please? (A stack traceback with symbols would be good.) If you can do this, it would be appreciated. And try to hang on to that core file, because there might be other information that could be usefully extracted. You are probably the first person in the world to try the "crmd" part of the software on Solaris! (I haven't... knowingly, at least.) The software's main platform is Linux, but we have worked hard over recent years to have a portability framework so that it can potentially work on potentially all other UN*X-like OSes, including Solaris. And in recent weeks, I've put a fair bit of effort into trying to nail some of the remaining bugs that Solaris exposes. But others bugs certainly lurk. I realise that's not the quick, easy answer that you might have hoped for. But any assistance you could give in tracking down and debugging this problem would be useful. Hope that helps a little. -- : David Lee I.T.
