BTW, just to make that absolutely clear. I've never meant to imply or
even hint at that you do not know what you're doing (despite the general
level of such suggestions as they apply to technical discussions all
over the passionate world ;-). You're one of the best engineers I know.
The criticism was more aimed at the continuity (and consistency) of
those skills being applied.
One suggestion I would dare make for those times where your job or
personal situation does not allow you to give the Linux HA project the
attention it needs, and which you are giving it right now (which is
great) would be to appoint a deputy, so the project does not stall for
any one person. (SPoF, redundancy and all that.)
I know that you and I have some personal issues because the messenger
happens to get shot by tradition (and to be honest, I'm not sure you and
I would make a good team ;-), but maybe someone else would be willing
and able to step forward and gain your confidence.
