No problem and sorry for the wait. The script IS NOT derivative work. I studied carefully the official vmware init script to understand their usage of the vmware-vim-sh and vmware-vim-cmd commands... Anyway i didn't rip a single line from the init script. And about my boss and my company I don't think he should get involved in this since I mostly wrote the script in my spare time.
