Is that the usual way? I have to ask my manager if he gives me time for that... 
This seems then very official. In the past someone who has found a bug, and was 
able to fix it, committed a patch... I would like to, but my manager has to 
give me time for that...

Does it mean if my manager says no, the script won't be committed? Why others 
are not asked to create such an account. Or is this a new thing here?
