Fine with me, as newer distributions don't ship with EVMS anymore anyways.
Older distros (read: sles10) can easily keep the latest copy of those.

Does something different, I think. And it still "works",
whatever that means for this RA ;-)
I doubt that anyone actually uses this,
but if someone does, he probably has to.

Could possibly be replaced with a wrapper and continue to complain noisily.
We may also offload that to distributors, though.
Then, maybe not. Rather do that ourselves ;-)

Should be replaced by a wrapper around the pacemaker ping, then,
and continue to complain noisily.
maybe add ocf_really_deprecated_will_be_removed "2011-04-01"?
well, chose a better date ;-)

And how is the average nobody supposed to know that? ;-)

1.0.2 was Feb 1st. 1.0.3 was last week.
If that implies 1.0.4 will be in June,
I don't think that deprecation timeframe was sufficient.

Most likely no one, at least no one using them, has noticed.

No one reads the logs unless something does not work.

Most people won't even see it once they look,
because of the bad signal/noise level in those logs.

Dejan, Rasto, Tim, Yan:
Our various user interfaces should probably warn about
deprecated resource agents, too.

Currently the deprecation is in the longdesc, and in the logs.
Does it need to go somewhere else to make it easier for the UIs
to pick it up?

Maybe even crm_mon could:
one line with "deprecated RAs in use" by default,
 details if invoked with -f?

What else can we do to get the deprecation actually noticed
by existing installations, respectively "the guy responsible"?

Right.
