Indeed it is. But we should be careful with the wording. In my understanding
"load balancing" includes a mechanism to measure the load on all nodes and
distribute the load evenly between all nodes.

iptables CLUSTERIP hash mechanism just distributes the load statically
according
to the chosen hash mechanism. So I think it is better to talk about load
sharing.


have you got a diff of your changes?
is there a reason why we'd not include them in the normal version IPaddr2?
