One more question. I have decided to simply use Heartbeat 1 which I am
more familiar with instead of wrestling with the cib right now.
However, one more problem as I have never done this on a SuSE Enterprise
10 box before.
Have set up my arptable rules but am having trouble setting up the lo:0
device in /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-lo:0.
When I try to start this device up I get the message:
cat: /sys/class/net/lo:0/type: No such file or directory
lo:0
lo:0 IP address: 172.16.7.80/32
interface lo:0 is not up
I have tried to copy the folder /sys/class/net/lo to /sys/class/net/lo:0
but without luck.
Can anyone help out with this?
