Nagios has a great plugin for monitoring Heartbeat and even DRBD: http://www.nagiosexchange.org/Linux.55.0.html?&tx_netnagext_pi1 [p_view]=324 - Heartbeat http://www.nagiosexchange.org/Linux.55.0.html?&tx_netnagext_pi1 [p_view]=296 - drbd
We use these extensively for our production clusters and they work well. Nagios also allows remote checks of any services you wish to configure including filesystem and load. Best Regards, Mark L.
