Did you try the newest release (2.1.2) already?
See http://linux-ha.org/download/index.html for details.
I suggest updating to the newest version since a lot of bugs have been
fixed since 2.0.8!
greets Lars.

I’m a newbie to linux –HA. I’m having great difficulty in getting heartbeat
2.0.0.8 to start my resources. I’ll first described what I would like
happen. I want heartbeat to be in an active/active state and monitor 2 IP
addresses as well as a radiator (radius server) service. This would allow
me to perform load balance at a later time. I am using mandriva 2007 and I
installed from source tar ball. I had the IP address fail over in version
one with no problems and migrated to version 2 by converting the haresources
with the python script. Please note that when I tested just the IP fail
over without the radiator it seemed to work, but when I re-entered the
radiator details in the cib.xml (done using the conversion again) neither
the IP failover or radiator work. The crm_verify Vx returns nothing.
BasicSanityCheck fails at the CRM test which is interesting because the
software works with just IP failover. Below are the logs. I truly don’t
know what else to try.
