I am new to Heartbeat, but have been using several other
Clustering Software for many years. I setup a small 2 node test cluster
recently, but have run into some weirdness. I started with a default
"empty" cib.xml file and decided to use the GUI to add resources. I have
successfully added an IP address and got it to fail back and forth
between nodes. However when I shutdown heartbeat on both nodes and then
start it up again, the resource is gone. I check the cib.xml file and it
never gets updated. It still has the basic empty config, and the time
stamp is from when I first created it. I checked that the file is owned
by the hacluster user and haclient group. What am I missing?

Also is there a way to force a resource to move to a
specific node? I haven't found that command yet.

Lastly when I made any changes to the IP address resource,
it instantly moved to the other node as soon as I hit apply. Is this
normal behavior? I haven't setup any infinity for it yet, but am
planning to do that eventually (as soon as I can save it!)

            Thanks in advance!
