better to go back a step and use the PE's API (as used by crm_mon)

actually you could use an xslt to transform the html output....

but its really a non-trival task to determine programatically

which brings up a quote i've used a few times in previous days:
   The PE is a poor imitation of the human brain.

Ie. just because something is obvious to us, doesn't mean its a
particularly easy task for the PE.

I'm happy to include other output modes in crm_mon.. just send me a patch :-)
