I want to configured the two node cluster for monitoring my mysql server. My prime requirement is if i down mysqld service of node1 the virtual ip and mysql database need to shift on node-2 . I know this will be done only with heartbeat R2 . Now as per guide by Mr. Alan . i have configured the both the node. The virtual ip is working on node-1 but the mysqld service in not up on node-1 . the output is attached below. if i shutdown the node-1 the virtula ip and mysql database is shifted to node-2 and mysqld service is alos running . Could you suggets why i am not able to run the mysqld service on node-1 automatic. Pls suggest . -regards Manish
