Yes. I did log the user out and in. Then, verified membership in the group with 
the "groups" command. And, thanks, for pointing out the obvious. That is often 
what gets overlooked!

By the way, I'd like to verify that I understand casual/non-casual. A 
non-casual client is one that is listed as an argument to node in the ha.cf, 
correct? The apiauth entries are only required for casual clients, correct?

adding them to the group right?
