The cluster was running. It is my impression that all sorts of
actions, including monitor, trigger this.

hb_report does not seem to be included in my distribution (prevu
backport from Ubuntu Gutsy). Where can I obtain it?

Merely the idea that I would benefit from the added checks in the
Ubuntu startup scripts. However, going through these, I don't see
anything that I need, and have now switched to the OCF scripts, which
include better monitor support. Thanks for pointing my attention to
this.
