Hey
I've just tried to run simple two-ips config that was usually working without problems (ok, there might be some slight changes, I don't setup new cluster every day ;) ). I'm using distro version: heartbeat-2.1.2-3.el5.centos.
After starting second cluster node I got:

Nov 6 17:16:35 sh-mysql-1 cib: [27642]: ERROR: validate_with_dtd: CIB does not validate against /usr/share/heartbeat/crm.dtd Nov 6 17:16:35 sh-mysql-1 cib: [27642]: ERROR: activateCibXml: Ignoring invalid CIB Nov 6 17:16:35 sh-mysql-1 cib: [27642]: WARN: activateCibXml: Reverting to last known CIB Nov 6 17:16:35 sh-mysql-1 cib: [27642]: WARN: cib_process_command: Activation failed Nov 6 17:16:35 sh-mysql-1 cib: [27642]: WARN: do_cib_notify: cib_update of <node_state > FAILED: Update does conform to the DTD in /usr/share/heartbeat/crm.dtd Nov 6 17:16:35 sh-mysql-1 cib: [27642]: WARN: cib_diff_notify: Update (client: 27656, call:7): -1.-1.-1 -> 0.0.0 (Update does conform to the DTD in /usr/share/heartbeat/crm.dtd) Nov 6 17:16:35 sh-mysql-1 crmd: [27656]: info: ccm_event_detail: CURRENT: th-mysql-1.XXXXXXXX [nodeid=1, born=1]

and it goes on...
Update is just standard change from <cib/> to <status><node_state ...></status> ...

Errors:
Nov 6 17:16:35 sh-mysql-1 cib: [27642]: ERROR: Element cib does not carry attribute num_updates Nov 6 17:16:35 sh-mysql-1 cib: [27642]: ERROR: Element cib does not carry attribute epoch Nov 6 17:16:35 sh-mysql-1 cib: [27642]: ERROR: Element cib does not carry attribute admin_epoch

Heartbeat won't start without epoch and rest, so it's currently <cib num_updates="" epoch="" admin_epoch=""> in my cib.xml.

right

Is there anything I can do about it?

set values for them, preferably not "" or all zeros either
they're the cib's version fields _______________________________________________
